Once again, we got to team up with the AMAZING team at Spell Society to capture this truly EPIC vintage boho micro wedding at Foxfire Mountain House in the NY Catskills! Right as Sara arrived at the venue, she could tell it was going to be such an incredible wedding to shoot! Driving up to the mountain house was really neat because you have to take a little wooded back-road that makes it feel like you're visiting a cabin in the woods.
Sara's first stop for the day was at the glass house on property for some detail shots of Rose + Francis's invitation suite! There were so many windows on the quaint little house that the lighting inside was freakin' PERFECT and we were obsessed with the rustic boho decor as well! Next Sara met up with the couple for some pre-ceremony portraits in the meadow nearby and in front of some cool firewood stacks! It was there that they all bonded over their love for the mountains and Vermont, as Francis is actually from there and is an avid snowboarder! He's even hoping to teach Rose how to snowboard too this coming winter!!
After capturing some AMAZING moody individual portraits of these two, we headed up to the mountain house for Rose + Francis's ceremony on the front porch. Their florist created some freakin' MAGIC with a dramatic alter arrangement on the porch with flowing florals and bright red and pink toned roses! Immediately after the ceremony, we walked around the back of the house and took some couples portraits on the bohemian style back porch! It had the most beautiful Moroccan inspired tiles and string lights that gave the entire space such awesome eclectic, moody, and boho vibes!
And AS IF things couldn't get any dreamier, following their intimate reception dinner in front of the glass house, Rose + Francis hopped into a canoe and took a romantic ride around the nearby lake! We literally could not imagine a more perfect end to this stellar micro wedding!
