When we started planning out Erin + Nick's adventure engagement session, they told Sara that what they hoped for most was for it to be in autumn and at a waterfall. So Sara found a bunch of awesome options in the Poconos, PA area and then we narrowed it down to Hornbeck Creek Falls!
Erin and Nick wanted to bring along their rescue pup, Murphy, to their session, so our newest photography trainee, Alexa, joined us as Murphy's dog sitter! After meeting up in the parking lot, we all hiked the trail to the waterfall together, capturing photos along the way. The trail is pretty easy and flat, plus it has several narrow footbridges, as well as regular bridges, making it perfect for beginner adventurers.
Once we got to the waterfall, Erin and Nick changed into their second outfits and Erin had the most stunning green satin dress that looked freakin' gorgeous with all of the greenery surrounding us. We loved how Erin and Nick were totally down to do whatever, including climbing up a mossy ledge, even with Murphy! He was such a great sport!
Erin told Sara that it was her dream to get into the water for some photos and even though it was quite chilly, Nick and Murphy decided to brave the cold water so that we could get Erin her dream photos!! It was honestly SO worth it, because the photos looked freakin' epic and we even got a few spicccy shots!
