Hey There,
I’m Reese and that's my (really BIG) little sister, Ginger, to my right! I look not-so-jolly here because I was really bummed that Aunty Bri and my cousin Daphne weren't available to squeeze into the photo, but oh well. They were probably out buying me Christmas cookies.... right? Ya girl NEEDS her cookies.
Anyways.... back to the reason you're all here! I wanna thank all of our Sara Fitz Co. couples who decided to include their cute fur babies, like us, in their sessions and weddings for 2023! I’m super excited to share that this year Reese’s Rescue raised a total of $190, which will be donated to the rescue, Bunny's Buddies! We couldn't have done this without you all! And in the spirit of giving, let's bump that total up to $200! Woohoo!

What is Reese's Rescue?
We always encourage our dog-loving couples to include their fur babies in their sessions or wedding and when they do, we like to give back to dogs still looking for their forever homes! Throughout the season we tally up how many couples include their dogs in their Sara Fitz Co. experience and then at the end of the year we take a portion of the proceeds from each session to donate to the year's chosen dog rescue!
$10 Donation per Session
$20 Donation per Wedding/Elopement
We are so thrilled to announce that we had a total of 13 sessions/weddings that took part in Reese’s Rescue this year!

Adopt. Don’t Shop.
Here are 10 Reasons Why You Should Rescue:
1. You save a life.
2. You pay less.
3. You help break the cycle of pet overpopulation.
4. You help stop cruelty in mass breeding facilities.
5. You can get a lifetime resource with shelter employees and volunteers.
6. You choose from a great selection of animals.
7. You adopt a pet who has received good care.
8. You support a valuable charity and community institution.
9. You can adopt all different ages and breeds, from adults to puppies, and purebred or mixed (like Reese, Ginger & Daph were).
10. You encourage others to adopt animals from shelters and rescues.

How To Plan Your Session With Your Pup:
Thinking of joining Reese's Rescue crew in 2024 or beyond? I sure as heck hope you do!
So I've got a little tidbit of helpful info to remember when planning a session or wedding with your fur-baby. Make sure that on the day of your session, elopement, or wedding you have a designated friend or family member who can doggy sit your pup during those in-between moments when they're taking a break from photos. As far as nailing the photos they are in, be sure to bring along lots of their favorite treats and pay attention to words/tones that grab their attention when you need it for the shot.
Don't have anyone who could help doggy sit? I've got your back! I can provide a fur baby-loving dog sitter for your session, all we ask is that you provide my sitter with a tip.

While not all fur babies could be present on their paw-rents' big day, we wanted to share all of the awesome ways they still were included in the details of the day!
