I'm Sara Fitz
and here's my cliffnotes...
I am married to a hottie named Kevin, momma to two fur babies named Reese and Ginger, and run this little photo biz with my sister, Bri, by my side. I was a COVID bride who had to postpone an epic campground wedding in exchange for an intimate elopement in the mountains and coastline of Acadia National Park, Maine; I wanted to elope in the first place, so I like to joke with Kevin that if anyone won that battle, it was definitely me. Don't worry, Kev still got his big party in September 2021 and it was everything we could have ever hoped for!
We live in Bucks County PA, tucked away in our forever home in the woods and love to jump around between my family's AirBNB houses in Vermont, the Poconos, and Cape May. I love traveling so if you ask me where my next destination is, I could probably list a minimum of 3 different booked destinations on the spot.
I am really passionate about rescuing dogs so I started Reese's Rescue in 2019, an initiative I began with the help of my clients! How's it work? Throughout the year we tally up how many couples include their dogs in their photo experience and then at the end of the year we take a portion of our proceeds from each to donate to the year's chosen dog rescue! So far we have donated a total of $540 and growing to animal shelters and rescues alike.
My favorite part of running this biz is getting to redefine how elopement and wedding photography works! I refuse to run a "photoshoot". Instead, I'm going to take you guys on an exciting new adventure or on your favorite date. We aren't going to "pose", we are going to *very literally* exercise your love. The smiles and emotions you see in my photos are as real as it gets. And don't sweat it because the camera is only a tool I use to freeze your memories for a lifetime of reminiscing.
National Parks and traveling to new destinations are two of my favorite things. I love visiting new places with Kevin and Bri for vacations and equally adore exploring them with my couples for their Elopements, Destination Weddings and Love Sessions. While visiting these remote locations, I am very passionate about following the Leave No Trace ethics, so that we can protect the wildlife and preserve the environment for future visitors to enjoy after us.

Meet Bri, my Executive Assistant and the Elopement Day-Of Coordinator. Bri helps me with everything behind-the-scenes from running the Photo Journal, editing, admin and inbox maintenance, timeline planning, designing Wedded Logos and Heirloom Keepsake Albums. She is also an integral part of the on-location execution of elopements and styled shoot projects alongside me.
Bri is an old soul who enjoys reading, Outlander, brie cheese (lol), coffee, and is visiting Scotland again next summer after falling in love with the country in spring '23 (where she got engaged!). She got a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing before joining the SFC team. We both enjoy making annual trips to Disney World and Universal's Harry Potter World. She also has a rescue pup, Daphne (or as I call her Daphinator), who is a Bluetick Coonhound mix that she adores. Oh, and a sweet fiancé named Zach! ;)
How do we know each other? We are sisters, couldn't you tell?! Bri has been a huge part of this business from Day 1 and has immensely added to the success it's seen. I am so grateful to have her in this journey with me everyday.

Meet Alexa, my hype girl and the lead photographer for Associate Weddings and one of my rotating Second Shooters! You won't catch any other rando associate photographer at your wedding; Alexa is the one-and-only and damn good at it. She shoots EXACTLY like me after a year of intensive training before starting her role as an Associate team leader. Not to mention, she knows how to bring a good-ass-time to the party.
How do we know each other? We were roommates at Rowan Universaity many moons ago. Fun fact, Alexa was my first ever "model" while I was learning photography in college.
